Top Ten Videos of 2009: 1. Storm Large, “8 Miles Wide”
December 22, 2009 | Comment
Here it is, the moment you’ve all been waiting for… my number one favorite web video of 2009. Some of you know of my affection for this video, and may therefore not be surprised that I gave it my #1 ranking. Others of you who have not seen it, well… you’re welcome. Also, if you dig “making-of” featurettes (as I do), I recommend the “8 Miles Wide: Behind the Scenes” YouTube videos.
Storm Large’s recordings are available at Amazon and CDBaby. Her Facebook fan page is here, her YouTube channel is here, and the one-stop destination for all things Storm is stormlarge.com. Coolest of all, check her out at iheartgretchenlowell.com where she appears as the visual embodiment of the “Beauty Killer” Gretchen Lowell, the character at the center of a series of best-selling thrillers by my friend Chelsea Cain.
Since it’s my number one video of the year, including the “8 Miles Wide” credits seems only proper.
