I think I probably would like it, because I've heard him talk about how the only reason he agreed to do it was that they gave him the freedom break the rules, e.g., not having guests come on whom he's not interested in talking to... that kind of thing. Even though some of his shtick becomes fairly the same night in and night out (and I watch at least once a week), I really like this guy. His monologues are enough different and quirky to keep my attention. He has real opinions about real issues and presents them in a funny, jocular maner that I find appealing. Anyway, he's good for me when I can't sleep, which is more often than not these days. I would submit for your examination as a final entry to your list Craig Ferguson.
